Heading across Columbia river at Astoria. Be in Oregon for the first time in six years! Never thought i would return this way!
Funny. I landed on oregon soil at exactly noon. Here is pix taken as i crossed (very dangerous)
I am finally in Oregon after six years. When I left I thought I would have been back easily within a year, with visions of retiring part time on the farm and fixing PCs etc for a living. Funny what life throws at you.
Here is a view of the bridge from the Astoria side. Onwards down 101 to Pacific City and a paddle in the ocean!
