I left Portland heading up Burnside and decided to drop into Sylvan Heights, the apartment complex I helped build with Chet when I first moved to Oregon in 1986.
I was really surprised how mature the trees were! Its become a beautiful place to live and the misaligned post holding up one of the buildings is still their with the metalwork we fitted!!
Drove home via 217 and Greenburg road like I was still living here. Its all so familiar and comforting being here.
