Thunderstorms and lightening all night kept me awake at times, but nice and dry in tent. It was all over by the morning. Left Owens Creek in Bighorn at 7am. Still at an elevation of 6,000 feet!! The plains I am entering are covered in cloud, so took a few pix. Disturbed a herd of Deer feeding by the road taking pictures.
Am now in Sheridan and on I90, approximately four hours to Mt Rushmore. Its a cloudy day, but it was lovely and sunny above the clouds before I left Bighorn Mountains.
Onwards.....
