The Black Hills & Mt Rushmore

Got to Black Hills of South Dakota by mid afternoon.

Custer State Park is where Mount Rushmore resides.  The drives were truly amazing, narrow & twisty. The roads were especially designed for driving in the 1920s to give spectacular view of Mt Rushmore & other vistas.

Here is some pix of the drive and Mt Rushmore, which was fascinating.

There is a huge, very organised visitor centre here, well worth it.

Am camping tonight at a KOA campsite at Palmer Gulch. Lots of working facilities such as showers and laundry!!
